Reviews
After our visit to Mount Aso, we had a delightful and satisfying meal in the city of Aso, located in Kumamoto prefecture. This particular restaurant, which is approximately 1 km away from Aso station, specializes in local cuisine and is highly recommended. We were especially grateful to have found this place for lunch, as many other establishments in the area close by 2pm. Fortunately, this restaurant stays open until 3pm, allowing us to enjoy a delicious meal before continuing our journey.
Quite popular in this area so make sure to go visit at early time.
Great servings of food and rich taste.
One of the best meals during my trip to Kyushu. Truly focusing on local cuisine that is home cooked and delicious. The long wait to get a seat is a testimony to how delicious and popular this restaurant is. Must visit.
We were here for lunch. Was looking for a place open for late lunch and happened to find this place. The beef udon was delicious. However, the pig innard stew was quite a disappointment.
Must order their set and pork meal. Nice food and polite staff
Nice local tasty food. Make sure you have translation app or you understand Japanese for easy ordering.
Decently good food.
Superb service and atmosphere.
Had a lovely lunch here. Their specialty is the chicken & noodles set. It's a very local dish that I would definitely recommend! You can get it a-la-carte too. We also had a bowl of soba that was so warm & soothing for the cold weather.
Would definitely recommend!
